Marketing for holistic operators: 7 steps to hit the mark

1) DISCOVER YOUR STRENGTHS, CREATE YOUR WELLNESS BRAND

Anyone who carries out a profession like yours, in which the person and perceptions are the fulcrum, knows how important the creation of a brand is to hit the mark. Creating a brand means, first of all, focusing on your strengths, trying to strengthen your weaknesses as well. From the name to the image, from the product line to the entrepreneurial philosophy, passing through the online presence, a successful wellness brand really needs few words to conquer its market share.

In fact, too often I have met professionals working in the holistic sector who could not understand the need to create their own brand. They thought that word of mouth or a few cute photos on social media were enough to increase the customer base… the result? Zero visibility and customers that went straight to the competition.

Although the “voracity” and speed of the web are often seen as antithetical to your sector, in reality this is not the case at all. The website , for example, is one of those tools that cannot be missing in a marketing strategy for holistic operators. To make yourself known and seriously promote your profession, you need to create a website that matches your goals and your business.

What do I mean by this? That through your web page you can and must promote yourself as a professional, your studio, your image and be a point of contact between you and your clients .

Remember that to be truly effective, a website must:

  • Have up-to-date and quality content
  • Be clear, professional and possibly in a configuration visible even from mobile
  • Make available all the information and contact details useful to your customers and potential customers
  • Be optimized and have a blog to grow the value of your business, as well as appearing at the top of search engines

3) SOCIAL MEDIA: THE POWER OF SPONSORSHIP

LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram … having a professional social page of your holistic business is now not only a duty, but also a necessity . In fact, most of your competitors have at least one, more or less well managed, which allows them to establish and maintain profitable contacts with customers. If you too want to make yourself known and increase your customer base, then you need to have professional and always up-to-date social media pages, with studied and regular content, as well as quality.

One of the goals of marketing for holistic operators is to create a community of loyal and satisfied customers . To achieve this, you can take advantage of various tools: newsletters, SMS and WhatsApp.

  • The newsletter is the now classic method for sharing promotions, news, specific announcements and articles , with those who have given their consent. An always effective way to create and spread value, always staying close to your customers
  • SMS and WhatsApp : SMS, together with the more widespread WhatsApp, allow you to create a true interactive community , through which you can communicate directly and extemporaneously with your customers. Thanks to messages you can share any type of content (clearly professional) and receive almost instantaneous feedback
